FAQ’s

When can I get my dumpster?

This depends on our schedule.  We will always do our best to accommodate any reasonable request, however lead-times can vary based on the demand of our services.  We appreciate, at minimum, a 48 hour notice when ordering a dumpster.

How long is the rental period?

A container can be rented for up to 30 days. Arrangements can be made as needed for additional time.

What do I do when I am ready to have the container picked up?

You need to call for pickup. We will not pick up any container until we have discussed the matter with the customer.  Simply call us at least 48 hours in advance of your desired pickup day. We will do our best to meet your requests but the availability for pickup will be dependent upon our schedule.

When can you deliver a dumpster?

We deliver Monday through Friday between approximately 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Days and hours may vary based on holidays and weather throughout the year.

How do I determine which size dumpster is best for my project?

How do I order a dumpster?

Please see our Order Now  page or call our customer service representative at 414-362-7004 x1 for all your questions and ordering requests. We pride ourselves on having someone to personally help you for your individual needs.

How much space is required for the dumpster?

Our dumpster dimensions are noted on this site for each dumpster type. It’s recommended that you provide space to accommodate double the amount of the width and length of the dumpster to assure adequate clearance. Also, consider an additional 10′ for the door that swings open at the back of the rolloff dumpster.

What is the difference between a rolloff dumpster and a lugger dumpster?

Rolloff dumpsters have a door and wheels at the rear.  They are tipped off the back of a truck, which then is rolled onto your drive or delivery location. Rolloffs require a larger area for dumpster placement and a larger truck for transport. Lugger dumpsters have flat bottoms with high sides and front and a low rear height for access. They are lifted off and on the truck. Lugger dumpsters are ideal for smaller driveways and alleys as they have a smaller footprint and require a smaller truck for delivery.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway or pavement?

A dumpster & truck can be very heavy.  They are also not 100% leak-proof. We highly recommend customers take all necessary actions to prevent any potential damage to their driveways and pavements by placing plywood on the driveway where the container will be placed.  This does not guarantee that the container or truck will not leave markings or trace.

Upon signing the Terms & Conditions Agreement, you affirm that any right-of-way provided for the container is sufficient to bear the weight of all our dumpster equipment and vehicles required to perform the contracted service.  You assume all liabilities for damages to private driving surfaces, pavements or road surfaces and the entire container placement site unless caused by our negligence.

Can the dumpster be placed on the street?

Permits may be required. Check with your local municipality for specific rules and regulations.  It will be your responsibility to obtain the proper permit and to comply with the additional requirements of your local governing body. This often includes placing flashing barricades around the container.

What items are not allowed to be placed inside the dumpster?

Hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, radioactive material, oil filters, herbicides and pesticides, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids), other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil / lubricating / hydraulic oil / oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, petroleum-contaminated soil / lead paint chips, tires, appliances, fluorescent tubes, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, microwaves, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, and all liquids.

All the materials must be below or level to the top of the container – nothing can be sticking out of the top.  Additional requirements may apply based on the specific circumstances. The liability for maintaining appropriate and permissible waste material remains with the customer as agreed to in the Terms and Conditions Agreement.

Is it necessary for someone to be on location when the dumpster is delivered/exchanged/removed?

It is not necessary to have someone on-site for delivery or removal of the dumpster. However, be as detailed as possible when answering the delivery questions, as the driver will use their judgment and place the dumpster in the safest accessible area.

If an on-site contact is not available for delivery, you’ll be responsible for all charges involved with the relocation of the dumpster, should it be necessary. For removal, the customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the dumpster.  If the dumpster is inaccessible, the customer is subject to additional pickup charges, per the Terms & Conditions Agreement.

Please be aware that extra trips will incur an additional charge per trip from the initial quote. Common causes of trip charges are: blocked delivery site, delivery site is not large enough or safe for delivery vehicles and/or equipment, containers being overfilled, cars blocking safe access to the container, restricted materials in container, or site conditions such as snow, ice or soft soil, and many others. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for rescheduling.  Doing so may prevent extra trip charges.

What if I need an exchange to a fresh dumpster once mine is full?

You can have additional dumpsters with your order. You will pay the same low price for any additional container of the same specifications.

Will I be billed for extra weight?

Yes, if your tonnage goes over the included tons quoted in your initial order, you will be charged additional cost according to the applicable terms and conditions. Payment method is kept on file for any possible overages and will be charged once charges have been incurred.

Can you explain what the Terms & Conditions Agreement is?

We ask all our customers to sign this agreement to show that they have been made aware of and understand our guidelines for rental.  This agreement can be viewed and authorized online.  Though the agreement is contractual, there is no time term so you are not locked in to use our service.
